Rev. Payne has served FBC as Pastor for the last 16 years, and has come to know and love ‘his’ people!  Kevin preaches from the Word of God every week, teaching that God’s plans for our lives are found as we follow Him.  He invites you to worship with us, and discover the very best life you can experience!

Lori has served as our Childcare Director for over 30 years, and has grown this ministry into one that is known and respected throughout Independence.  She leads our Caregivers to provide full-time care to over 100 children from our community, and helps our church serve the needs of over 90 families in our area.  

Rose has filled our Office Manager position for the last 3 years, and has become the ‘go to’ person for almost anything that needs to be taken care of here.  She manages many of the business affairs of the church, as well as helping our ministry staff and volunteers coordinate their efforts.  She is efficient and friendly, and cares for all those she encounters.  If you call our offices, you may be greeted by Rose’s friendly, caring voice.

Rev. Scott has filled our Minister to Children position for more than 10 years, and loves the little ones.  He leads them in class every week, and presents a Children’s Message during our weekly service. 

Nate has served as our Minister of Music for over 10 years, and brings a wealth of experience in the music world to FBC.  Come and worship as Nate leads our Praise Team!
